	Tax Collection
	The Civil Department of the St. James Parish Sheriff mails notices from the annual tax rolls prepared by the St. James Parish Assessor for collection on property located in St. James Parish. The notices are mailed out the last week of November and taxes are due by December 31st of each year. For questions concerning the assessed value or amount of taxes due call the St. James Parish Assessor's Office.
